Noted from Importer: Mas D’intras are independent vinegrower located in the town of Valvignères in the southern French department of Ardèche. They have been exploiting the lands of their family in the hamlet of Intras since 1982.
They are a small family business of only 7 people and they produce organic certified wines. Everything from work in the vines to bottling is made by themselves at the domaine. Their decision to go organic came from a wish to adopt a responsible attitude.
A Viognier wine from this region that will surprise your palate, so enjoyable to drink as an aperitif or with white sauce dishes and anything seafood. On the nose you get white flowers but also fruity notes such as mango, tangerine. The palate shows up with a touch of spices, nutmeg, vanilla and layers of peach, honeysuckle, apricot with pleasant freshness and velvety texture.
