Martoccia Chianti DOCG
Another fantastic wine from winemakers Luca Brunelli & Marco Ciacci from Azienda Agricola Martoccia.
Notes from Importer: From the hills of Montalcino comes this world-class Chianti. A blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Mammolo, the wine starts its journey in soils rich with stony character. Hand-harvested and destemmed, the grapes undergo three days of cold maceration, followed by 15 days of natural fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. A brief rest in bottle ensures it’s ready to shine. Brilliant ruby red in the glass, this wine greets you with notes of violet and red berries. The palate is vibrant and lively, balancing its fresh fruitiness with a subtle, lingering finish. Pour it as an aperitif with charcuterie or alongside hearty pastas with tomato or meat sauces. This wine is versatile enough to work well with white meat, fresh cheese, salad, and grilled vegetables. This wine brings a bright, approachable slice of Tuscany to every occasion.
