A blend of 60% Sangiovese, 40% Montepulciano. Fermented with natural yeasts in open vats without any temperature control. The must is left to ferment with the skins and these are pumped over manually three times a day. The wine is then left to age in steel tanks for several months. No sulfur added.

Light to medium body, but well structured with bright flavors of blackberries, a bit smokey, nicely spicy, and well-balanced acidity. Chill and enjoy with BBQ and Italian dishes.
