Grechetto, from Greek origin but planted throughout Italy particularly in this region, is an expressive grape varietal that is aromatic and savory. It overflows with aromas of white flowers and stone fruits. Dry with medium to light body, and medium acidity. It’s juicy, citrusy, with honeydew layer and a playful finish. Pairs well with seafood, salmon, tuna and soft cheeses.

From the winemaker: The bunches are harvested by hand in September. The harvest takes place during the early morning to take advantage of the low temperatures. The grapes are de-stemmed, and after 24hrs contact with the skins, the grapes are pressed and the free-run must is fermented with wild yeasts. The wine is aged on the noble lees for several months and naturally clarified with racking and oxigenation. No filtration and no sulphites added. The wine is generally bottled during the waning moon in April.
