Chozas Carrascal is located in Valencia region, Eastern Spain, in a strategic location inside the valley of Utiel Requena. Being at 800m above sea level and next to the mountains, the vineyard has unique micro-climate conditions: cool and Continental weather with Mediterranean influences. The estate shares the same soil composition than the surrounding mountain, like the clay, limestones, and sands. The foundation of the estate dates back to the 19th century, and the old part of the winery is a National Heritage. They only work with concrete tanks, just as their predecessors made wine in the old days. All their wines have European organic certification. The philosophy of Chozas Carrascal has been always linked to their commitment to the environment and sustainability. They strongly believe that by respecting the nature we can get the best from it.
